Pennsylvania Language Forum (PLF) is PSMLA’s semi-annual publication. It features articles on teaching strategies, lesson plans, project ideas, and research for world language teachers in Pennsylvania. The PLF includes a Peer Review Process in our Fall edition.

Fall 2024 Issue

The Fall 2024 issue of the Pennsylvania Language Forum continues the blended format of the PSMLA Newsletter and the PA Language Forum. This combined format provides information on current PSMLA activities with articles contributed by your PSMLA colleagues.

Access and enjoy previous editions of the Pennsylvania Language Forum viewable in our digital archives. Our digital archives contain Pennsylvania Language Forum editions dating back to 2010. Search the compiled table of contents for specific articles by title, author, or language of examples.

Call for Submissions

Article submissions are accepted on a rolling basis but must be received by February 15 to be considered for publication in the Spring issue of the Pennsylvania Language Forum or by August 15 for the Fall issue. All authors and any co‐authors must be current PSMLA members at the time of publication. Contributors have the option of submitting articles for peer review for the fall issue. Advertising in the Pennsylvania Language Forum

PSMLA and the Pennsylvania Language Forum invite vendors and organizations to submit advertisements that share our mission. Vendors wishing to advertise should consult the Ads and Exhibits page on the PSMLA website. All other questions may be directed to Christina Huhn and Nathan Campbell, Co-Editors of PLF, at PALanguageForum@psmla.org
The targeted publication dates for the journal are the first week of October and the first week of April. Please contact PALanguageForum@psmla.org for due dates.
